Reflection

Making this painting was a lot of hard work; I have never worked this big before. I'm glad I got to challenge myself. People's critiques were very helpful and I think made the painting even better than it would have looked. I was worried to work in oil painting this large because I have not done it very much, this is only my 4th oil painting, but I definitely feel more comfortable with the material and I'm glad I did it. I know I haven't been super good at keeping up on the blog, but I did them eventually. It was hard to focus being senior spring. I really enjoyed the freedom in senior studio to be able to do what ever I wanted, this class has gotten me even more excited to go to art school in the fall.
