- feeling obligated-->taking a lot of time on panning a project and working hard on it for weeks but in the end you are not passionate about it and get bored and frustrated. "you only need one good reason to commit to an idea, not four hundred. But if you have four hundred reasons to say yes and one reason to say no the answer is probably no."
- planning --> being so focused on the plan and materials working a certain way. You must be able to not give up on a piece if it is not turning out the exact way you expected.
- wrong materials--> using materials that cannot do what you want. You must pick wisely or you will be disappointing.

Twyla Tharp packet (3/9/10)
Throughout the pages you read there are many warnings about how artists can get into "trouble", creatively, in their work. Think about which of these you can imagine being potential issues for you and/or your classmates in the Senior Studio class. Select three of these issues, and on your blog, describe how you can see them coming up in class. Be specific in your writing! Use references (quotes) to the text and to your own work/process in your writing.

you relate to these quotes, but how? how have they shown up for you in your work in the past?
